Herscher’s Class of 2020 “Graduates”

There were no long speeches, no handshakes, no fanfare... just a walk across the stage to pick up a diploma cover from an unmanned table in the presence of family and a few Herscher High School staff.

On Thursday, the graduating class entered the gymnasium, one family at a time, to record each individual student’s milestone for the HHS Class of 2020.

Principal Brad Elliot congratulated the class. Olivia Astle sang the National Anthem. The Valedictory speech was given by Simon Walthers, and Luke Whalen announced the turn of the tassels. All of these isolated elements will be combined into a video created by Image Group Photography.

The video will be available to the public to watch online beginning June 26.
