Drew Boudreau

School: Limestone Middle School

Position: 6th grade Physical Education teacher

Degree and University: Eastern Illinois University (Sports Management/Business Administration)

Hometown: Bourbonnais, IL

Previous Teaching Experience: 1st year teacher

Goals for this year: Getting to know everyone in the school/district, provide the best possible learning environment while keeping it fun for the students, and learn all I can from my fellow co-workers.

I am very excited to be given this opportunity to teach in the Herscher School District. I come from a family of educators and look forward to growing within the profession doing a job I love. Go Tigers!

 Jessica Kruse

School: Herscher Intermediate School

Position: 4th Grade Teacher

Degree and University: Bachelors in Education from Eastern Illinois University and Masters in reading from Olivet

Hometown: Limestone (Kankakee)

Previous Teaching Experience: (location and years) Florida 2 years, Nevada 3 years, Illinois 4

I’ve been married to my husband, Ryan, for 11 years and we have 4 children, Ava (10), Mya (8), Mason (7), Gia (5) When we are not busy with our children’s sports and activities, we enjoy going on family vacations, fishing, and camping.

Tim McElroy

School: Limestone MS

Position: 5th Grade Physical Education

Coaching/Sponsor/Other Duties: 7th Grade Girls Basketball

Previous Teaching Experience: Moulton MS Shelbyville, IL 4 Years

Goals for this year: Be a positive role model. Invest in relationships with students, staff, and the community. 

My wife and I are so excited to be in the area. I can’t wait to meet my students! GO TIGERS!

Molly Munneke

School: Herscher HS

Position: Family and Consumer Sciences

Coaching/Sponsor/Other Duties: (Previous extracurriculars include soccer, basketball, volleyball, culinary club, tutoring)

Degree and University: Bachelors in FACS from Montana State University; Master’s in finance from Colorado State University

Hometown: Tinley Park, IL

Previous Teaching Experience: Rock Springs, Wyoming- 2 years; Monticello, Minnesota- 4 years

Goals for this year: Accurately use the newest lingo on a week-to-week basis, have fun, and spread financial literacy!

Lauren Nugent

School: Limestone Middle School

Position: 5th grade ELA I 

Degree and University: Bachelor of Arts Middle Level Education/ English Language Arts Concentration

Hometown: Alma, IL 

Previous Teaching Experience: Grissom Middle School, Tinley Park, IL 

Goals for this year: My goal for this year is to establish a positive learning environment where every student feels welcome. I hope to create a classroom where students feel comfortable and encouraged.  

Katlyn Post

School: Herscher High School

Position: Agriculture Teacher

Degree and University: Illinois State University – Agricultural Education

Hometown: Crescent City/Limestone

Previous Teaching Experience: Central Burlington High School – 2 years

Goals for this year: To be the best that I can be for the students, high school and community this school year!
