I loved teaching agriculture at Herscher previously, and "retired" from teaching ten years ago to pursue other opportunities that provided flexibility for me with my family. During that time I continued my involvement in developing leaders in agriculture through my 4-H involvement and I enhanced my agriculture experience through hands on training by growing our beef production farm.  I decided to return to teaching when the opportunity developed this year for a second agriculture teacher. I'm excited to work together with Mr. Haigh to build a new and dynamic agriculture program that can fit the communities needs and students interests.
