On Tuesday, September 3, Herscher’s Village Board meeting began with a moment of silence in honor of Ed Webber, who had served as a trustee on the board for eight years.

John Branz stated that the Labor Day weekend events went well. And, Branz “appreciates very much all the work that goes into the weekend’s events, as well as the work of the police department.”

A filled book box, donated by Jason Ferris, Janelle Ferris, Brent Fulton and Jill Fulton, has been installed in the small children’s park behind the Village Hall. Anyone is invited to keep and/or donate books.

In addition, the village is currently seeking a replacement for village attorney due to the resignation of Claire Chaplinski.
