Cross Country Finishes Strong

The Herscher High School Cross Country team received a musical sendoff as they left school for Peoria on Friday flanked by the HHS band and student body.

 The XC teams finished their season on Saturday at the State Meet at Detweiler Park in Peoria. The boys finished 14th overall out of 25 teams. With 209 boys running the Tigers were led by Sophomore Drew Rogers 1st, followed by Sophomore Ben Morgan-63rd, Senior Wyatt Dohe-64th, Junior Trevor Stutz-110th, Sophomore Blaine Dodds-134th, Freshman Finley Cracco- 157th and Junior Connor Joffe- 162nd. The girls finished 25th overall and were led by Senior Gwen Meyer who finished 105th, followed by Senior Mady Rogers- 107th, Junior Natalie Rink- 117th, Senior Allison Borschnack-154th, Senior Molly Raymond-169th, Sophomore Bailey Rolando-172nd and Junior Lucy Martinson- 175th.
